After purchasing your 1 Hour Initial Health Consultation, you will be automatically redirected to the Online Health Consultation Booking page; where you will be able to book your 1 Hour Initial Health Consultation. Don’t worry if you are interrupted during your booking and can’t complete or accidentally close out of the webpage, you will still be able to access the booking page after purchase.

An email will be automatically sent to your email address, containing the booking page link and password (you will not be asked for the password when redirected after purchase, only if accessing the booking page via a link).

A 1 hour initial is recommended for new clients if you have a complex health condition or have tried everything with no results. This will deliver a fully comprehensive service so you can get to the bottom of your health concern.

A 1 hour follow up is for existing clients who need an extended amount of time to review and discuss functional testing results or protocol adjustments.

This is also necessary if your circumstances have dramatically changed since your initial consultation or you have not had an appointment for more than 3 months.

If you are booking to discuss functional test results you will need to book a 1 hour extended follow –up.

A 30-minute follow-up is for if you are having consistent appointments with your practitioner and need minor protocol adjustments or have further questions that require more research to be applied to your case.

Frequently asked questions

What do I need to do before my appointment?

It is important to read your appointment confirmation email as this contains all necessary pre-appointment information and will contain your intake forms which need to be submitted at least 48 business hours before your appointment. If you have booked your consultation and have not received your confirmation email please check your spam/junk mail folder as it can often be filtered into this section. If you have any further questions please email healthconsult@atpscience.com

Where do I find the intake forms and how do I get my intake forms to you?

The confirmation email that you receive after you have booked your appointment (please check your spam/junk mail folder as it can often be filtered into this section) contains links which will allow you to fill in your online intake forms.

I am having an issue completing my intake form, what can I do?

1. We recommend using google chrome when accessing the links below as we have experienced issues with other browsers in the past.
2. If you are attaching test results and this is a large file it may prevent the questionnaire from successfully submitting, in this case it would be best to send your test results separately to healthconsult@atpscience.com. Please submit PDF documents only, we do not accept jpeg files. If you have printed copies and don’t have access to a scanner you will find some tips for easily creating PDF files under the FAQ “How can I create a pdf file using my mobile phone”.

How can I create a pdf file using my mobile phone?

You can use your phone to do this by downloading a scanner application if you have an android phone. If you have an iPhone you can follow the below instructions using your notepad application:

Scan a document
Open a note or create a new note.
Tap , then tap Scan Documents.
Place your document in view of the camera on your device.
If your device is in Auto mode, your document will be automatically scanned. If you need to manually capture a scan, tap or one of the Volume buttons.
Drag the corners to adjust the scan to fit the page, then tap Keep Scan.
You can add additional scans to the document or tap Save when you're done.

How do I use or download Zoom?

The instructions below will help you connect to your zoom meeting smoothly.

Smart Phone:

1. Click on the zoom meeting link provided in this email. If you don’t have zoom downloaded on your phone please follow the prompts on your screen to download zoom. To continue with joining the meeting you will be prompted to enter the password provided above with the meeting link.
2. When joining the meeting you will have 3 messages pop up on your screen:
"Zoom" would like to access the microphone- select OK
"Zoom" would like to access the camera- select OK
To hear others please join audio- select call using internet audio
If you don’t choose these options you will not be able to see or hear your practitioner. If you are still having an issue with video or audio be sure to check the bottom of the zoom screen to ensure that the audio and video icon have been selected as on. If they have a strike through them please touch the icons to reactivate.

Computer:

1. You will need to ensure that your computer has both a camera connected (or built in) and a microphone or phone headset plugged in to use your computer. To continue with joining the meeting you will be prompted to enter the password provided above with the meeting link.
2. Click on the zoom meeting link provided in this email. If you don’t have zoom downloaded on your computer please follow the prompts on your screen to download zoom.
3. When you join the meeting please select join computer with audio when prompted and follow the instructions to check video and audio
4. Once you are connected if you are still having an issue with seeing or hearing your practitioner be sure to check that the audio is not muted and video is not turned off. You can fix this by looking at the bottom left hand side of your screen and clicking on the audio and video icons to ensure they have no strike through them.

I’m trying other types of supplements and health protocols whilst seeing you, can you give me more information about these and are they right for me?

If you are following other protocols, taking other supplements or medications and seeing other practitioners it is important that you provide all of this information before or at the very beginning of your appointment. Your health practitioner will not be able to advise on other practitioner recommendations however, they will be able to take this into consideration when making further recommendations within their scope.

How do I book my appointment and where is the consultation?

All appointments are conducted online through Zoom video chat, it is very important that your health practitioner is able to see you using the video option for your consultation. Health practitioners don’t offer appointments over the phone or in-clinic appointments at this point in time.

Can I book an appointment if I am pregnant or breastfeeding?

For ethical reasons ATP Science does not test products on pregnant or breastfeeding women. For this reason your health practitioners will not be able to suggest the use of supplements during pregnancy or breastfeeding unless recommending a prenatal supplement. Your health will be able to discuss diet and lifestyle support for you during this time.

Will I only be recommended to use ATP products?

This service is a complementary health service delivered by qualified and registered clinical nutritionists and naturopaths. Your health practitioner will use a holistic model and take into consideration your diet and lifestyle to make recommendations in these areas as well as supplements if applicable. Supplements from the ATP range will be utilised if they will be helpful for your individual situation, if there is something that ATP does not have available and it is identified as being beneficial your practitioner will also prescribe non-ATP products.

We are a family who would like to consult with you. Can we do this together in one appointment?

Our health practitioner would love to help your family work towards sustainable lifestyle changes that will benefit you all.
Each person within the family is a unique individual with unique genes, most likely different symptoms, more often than not different-looking test results, and as such needs to be treated like the individual they are.
Each family member is looked at separately and receives their own health plan. As such each family member needs to have a separate consultation, although this can be done back-to-back if availability permits.

Where do I get my blood tests done?

It is recommended that you see your general practitioner to allow them to help organise the recommended pathology testing. As our health practitioners offer a complimentary service it can be important for you to discuss these results with your General Practitioner (GP) in combination with your health practitioner.

If you are having issues getting the requested testing through your GP then your health practitioner will be able to help you organise this however, testing when not authorised by a GP, within Australia, will come with out of pocket expenses. It will also be your responsibility to organise an appointment with your GP to discuss the results when necessary. Our health practitioners do not diagnose or treat disease, this is the place of your GP while a qualified health practitioner offers a complimentary service to assist with your health journey.

How often do I need to book in for a follow up consultation?

If discussed during your appointment our team will be in touch within 48 hours to help book your follow up appointment. This appointment will allow our health practitioners to review your progress and protocol moving forward and/or review and discuss test results. If you would like to organise a follow up appointment outside of this please feel free to get in touch via email or you can book this yourself by following the link below. Our health practtiioners encourage you to check in with us to ensure you are continuing to move forward.

Do you provide written reports?

Our health practitioners will not provide written reports containing a detailed outline of the discussion that was had during your consultation. This is to help keep the cost of your appointment down. You will receive an email with your prescription within the 48 hours following your appointment. This will contain lifestyle, diet and supplement recommendations as discussed during your consultation. This email may also include some relevant handouts to help you along your health journey.

Do you provide individualised diet plans?

Our health practitioners don’t offer individualised diet plans as part of our service. They may be able to discuss other nutritionists that may help with diet plans if you feel this will be beneficial to support your protocol and recommendations.

Why have I not received my vital.ly or ATP prescription?

If it has been longer than 48 hours since your appointment and you have not checked your spam/junk mail folder, please do this first as often these emails may get sorted as junk by your mail server. If this is not the case please email healthconsult@atpscience.com for further help.

If you have used vital.ly through another practitioner before you will need to change your preferred practitioner to your ATP health practitioner in order for them to successfully prescribe what may have been discussed during your appointment.

Do you provide support in between consultations?

If you have any questions that require immediate attention such as a question around dosage or other information related to your current protocol then please feel free to get in contact via email. heallthconsult@atpscience.com

Please keep in mind that the team will suggest you book in for a follow up consultation if:

You have a question that is not a simple request.
You have more information that was not discussed during your appointment and your protocol needs altered because of this.
Your request requires further research to be answered.

It is very rare that a reaction to treatment will occur however, just in case, I do like to have a process in place. Please email me with your reaction (healthconsult@atpscience.com), it can take up to 48 hours to receive a reply. I am here for you however, due to other time constraints this may not always be as quickly as you would prefer. I assure you that I will endeavour to get back to you as soon as possible. In the meantime I generally recommend to reduce your dosage or stop completely until I can get back to you with some further advice. In case of a medical emergency please see your doctor and/or go to the emergency department.

International Customers Please Read the Below (Especially UK customers)

Import taxes: You may have to pay import taxes and/or customs duties. You may also be required to pay a brokerage (handling) fee for the shipment. These charges are separate from your shipping charge and you will be billed directly for them via the shipping carrier. These shipping and tax rates vary from country to country and also depend upon the products being ordered. ATP Science has no control over these charges.

Declaration of Value and Product Description: International shipments are processed with a commercial invoice as required to ship internationally. Customs may make additional requests based on local laws and regulations. Due to the complexity of some requests, we cannot guarantee that the additional information requested will be provided. The requests may differ depending on the order value, regulations, and other unpredictable factors.

Your shipping address, phone number, and email address: Please make sure your shipping address, phone number, and email are full and complete. The phone number or email may be used by the shipping company to contact you in case they have problems delivering your order. ATP Science is not responsible if you incorrectly enter your address on your order and will not be responsible for your parcel if it is incorrectly delivered because of this.

Customs & Regulatory information: ATP Science will not be liable for packages refused or held by customs for delivery. ATP Science does not take responsibility for any extra charged to the customer by customs/duty/VAT.

Address or other customer error: If a package is returned to ATP Science due to an address error (or any other error) made by the customer, the customer will be responsible for any shipping fees incurred. A refund will be issued for merchandise only, minus a 10% restocking fee*, upon receipt of the returned package. This also applies to customer refusal of a package (in which the customer will have the cost of the return shipment taken from the total refund).

Violation of laws: If a package is returned to ATP Science due to a violation of a country’s laws or import regulations, the customer will be responsible for any and all fees billed to ATP Science as a result. A refund will be issued for merchandise only, upon receipt of the returned package. If an order is seized and destroyed by customs due to regulatory issues, the customer will not receive credit for the merchandise or shipping cost.

Notes on returned packages: If an order is rejected by customs or unable to be delivered, and the cost to return the goods is greater than the value of the goods, ATP Science will instruct the carrier to abandon the package. The customer will not receive a refund for the merchandise or shipping cost. If an order is rejected by you unwilling to pay the duties or taxes ATP Science will only accept the rejected order if the value of the package is more than the cost of shipping to and back again and 10% restocking fee.  If the cost to return the items exceed the cost of goods then ATP Science will instruct the agents to destroy the package and no refund will be available (and you may still be liable to pay your customs duties and taxes). If we do accept the return of the goods your refund will be the total of your order minus the cost to ship the goods back to us (which in some cases is quite a hefty fee).

We request that you contact your customs office and ask about import regulations and restrictions before placing your order. It is important for you to become familiar with Customs policies for your specific country before ordering.

Customs regulations differ by country and not knowing their regulations can result in your order incurring high import duties, the delivery being delayed or even returned. Please check with your Customs office to see if your country permits the shipment of the products you are planning to order from us and if any additional licenses or permits are needed.
