What makes our gut healthy?
Having the right number of bugs and the right combination of species of bugs for your body is what we are striving for. Majority of these bugs live in and on us because they are in our environment and food.
More often than not it is not a deficiency of microbes but usually a problem occurs when we get infected by the wrong types of bugs or even an overgrowth of what may be considered healthy bugs that disrupt the balance. We can have too much of a good thing.[i]

A lot of us strive to eat a “balanced” diet but not a varied diet
A lot of us eat the same food all year round and we don’t change to eat with seasons. In nature, we would cycle between different fruits, vegetables, nuts, seeds, legumes and grains through the seasons. Eating what is fresh and available for the season and then having months off while we wait for it to return. We have been taught to have a balanced diet by balancing our food groups in each meal or day but we tend to select the same foods, our favorite foods to consume most days, all year round.
We typically do not have regular intermittent fasting. In nature we go through phases of feast and famine, our metabolism learns to adapt to changing ratios of protein, carbohydrates, and fats and eating at different times of the day.
Without this variation and change, there is a constant food supply for certain microorganisms and deficiencies of favorite foods for other microbes and that will fuel an overgrowth of some and deficiencies of others. We need variety.

GutRight is neither a pre or a probiotic, nor does it take the form of an antibiotic either. It fills that middle gap that we haven’t had access to before now, it doesn’t feed anything but also doesn’t kill everything, it balances the ratio between the good guys and the bad guys, bringing down the overpopulation of bad so that the good can flourish and correct gut health.
Is it a powder or a capsule?
GutRight is a powder form supplement that can be mixed with foods, juices etc. one of the interesting reasons we went with a power is that the polyphenols contain bitter properties that work in conjunction with the Vagus Nerve and digestive process and these first start with the bitter taste buds on the tongue
How long will this last me?
1 tub (150g) contains 30 serves, if you are doing the 10 day protocol where it is 3 serves a day, you will go through a tub in the initial 10 days. After this 10 days, 1 tub will last 30 days.
Can Children use this?
Whilst we cannot suggest the use of any of our products to persons under the age of 15 years, many parents do include this in their children’s diet to help make sure they are getting an additional source of nutrients in their diet, just work with a good practitioner to acquire the right dose and protocol.
Can I use this while pregnant or breastfeeding?
For ethical reasons, we do not test our products on pregnant or breastfeeding women so we cannot suggest the use of this product during pregnancy or breastfeeding and correcting gut flora will be best to implement post breastfeeding.
Can I cook with this?
Absolutely! We make a lot of a delicious recipes with the GutRight and it blends easily amongst foods, smoothies and heat does not alter the structure of the polyphenols in the GutRight. As an example, you can use 1 serve to replace this equivalent portion of flour in your baking, banana bread is an amazing way of hiding it in there for fussy eaters!
What is a polyphenol?
Polyphenols are natural Phytochemicals found in our foods that act as both an anti-oxidant to us and also act as a natural pesticide on the outside of the fruit itself, they are often found in the peels and skins of fruits to keep bugs from attacking the plant. They are often quite bitter and astringent which is part of the way they protect themselves from bugs and animals ingesting the plant as a protection mechanism. There are a few types of Polyphenols: Flavanoids, Stillbenes, Ligans and Phenolic Acid.
What is a Modbiotic?
A Modbiotic is a complex of polyphenols, polysaccharides, glucans, lectins and other compounds that modulate microbes toward an anti-inflammatory and anti-obesity profile through combinations of antibacterial, antifungal and anti-parasitic actions that reduce excessive firmicutes and increase deficient bacteroidetes.
Do I need to follow a diet while taking it?
Following the Modbiotic plan while taking the GutRight for the initial 10 days includes the “Specific Carbohydrate Diet” which can be located on our website, this will assist with the modification process of the gut flora and allow a faster transition to a balanced ratio of Bugs and relief from digestion issues.
How long do I take this for?
There is no doubt that our food has changed and as such so have the nutrients available to us, much like the multi-food – adding the GutRight in as 1tsp daily on top a healthy diet and lifestyle will allow a peace of mind that these micronutrients, polyphenols and fibres are being taken in and looking after the gut as we are exposed to many sources of bacteria both good and bad as well as parasites in a our day to day lifestyle. Think of it as the foundation to your home, keeping it strong is the key to it being able to withstand outside forces that are out of our control.
Can I take this in conjunction with other products from the range?
Yes, you can most definitely, all of our product range minus the infrared support the gutright during the 10 day protocol so keep them in if you like.
What protein sources can you have during the 10 days?
You want to avoid dairy-based proteins and also pea proteins whilst on the 10 days. These can be added back in afterward if need be.
Is gutright organic?
Can you use gutright if you following regimes designed for FODMAP and SIBO?
This is a tricky one as the gutright wasn’t designed to support these regimes specifically but those that have use it in conjunction with these dietary requirements based on gut health have been happy with the results.
Can this cause eczema to worsen during the 10 days?
If the eczema is linked with a gut imbalance and the bug or fungus that is causing the eczema is dying off, it will very likely make haste and rapidly try to expand its colonization in order to survive. Those that have seen the Gutright through noticed that it tended to die off after the surge completely.
What happens if I don’t get any side effects?
One thing that we all have in common is the fact that we are unique, especially our gut flora, so while one person may have a greater physical reaction than you, does not mean that the product is not working. there are so many important internal processes that it works on such as breaking down bio-films and cleaning up excess mucous. Some may have more subtle effects than others.
Do I need to use antibiotics or probiotics during or afterwards?
Thankfully this does only target the firmicutes of the gut in terms of specific commensal flora so you aren't bombing the lot. This means that it is unlikely you will need to replenish with probiotics, however if you know through tests that you are deficient in a particular strain, then you can add this in as an individual item in conjunction after the 10 days.
Why aren't I pooping? Why am I going to the bathroom less?
If, through excess inflammation the gut is producing more mucous in response; this can be seen as making you a more regular visitor. So, when lessening the inflammation and clearing up excess mucous from the GI Tract, you may become initially less regular. However around day 8-10 is when this begins to balance itself out again as your body finds its rhythm.

Bought this product and only used it twice, it doesn’t dissolve at all and it tastes so bad even when mixed with orange juice. It just went all gluggy and thick
